Rama Gullapalli、MD、PhD
Dr. Rama Gullapalli is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pathology and Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Gullapalli completed his clinical pathology residency and molecular genetic pathology fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and trained under Dr. Jeffrey Kant. Dr. Gullapalli is triple board-certified in clinical pathology, molecular genetic pathology and clinical informatics from the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Gullapalli is an enthusiastic educator and, as the Director of the Molecular Genetic Pathology (MGP) Fellowship program, seeks to create translational research project opportunities for interested MGP fellows to pursue during the fellowship. Dr. Gullapalli is a physician-scientist whose research interests focus on understanding the environmental drivers of hepatobiliary diseases (focusing on cadmium heavy metal toxicology and plastic pollution). Dr. Gullapalli has expertise in optical engineering, clinical molecular diagnostics and clinical/translational bioinformatics.

Dr. Chabot-Richards received her MD degree from the University of New Mexico, where she also completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency and fellowships in Hematopathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology. She is currently Medical Director of the Molecular Diagnostics and Oncology Laboratory and Associate Director of the Transplant and Histocompatibility Laboratory at TriCore Reference Laboratories. Dr. Chabot-Richards, an enthusiastic teacher of residents and fellows, is the department Vice-Chair for Education. She has received multiple teaching awards and has served on committees devoted to furthering resident and fellow education for the Association for Molecular Pathology and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.

ボニー・カーマイケル、MD
Dr. Carmichael received her medical school degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. This was followed by a Pathology AP/CP residency and a Cytopathology Fellowship at the University of New Mexico. She completed her Molecular Pathology fellowship at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. She currently works with the Pathology Associates of Albuquerque (PAA) and serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Practice. Additionally, Dr. Carmicheal has been the laboratory medical director at Plains Regional Medical Center since 2008 and has served as a medical director at four other rural hospital labs in New Mexico. Dr. Carmichael brings extensive experience in lab directorship to the program and serves as a valuable resource for community and private pathology practice related issues. Her clinical interests include Surgical Pathology, Molecular Pathology, Cytopathology, and Clinical Pathology.

David Czuchlewski、MD、MEd

Amer Mahmoud、MD

Sarah Dean, PhD
Dr. Dean received her doctorate from the University of New Mexico where she studied molecular biology and environmental microbiomes with a focus on high-throughput Next Generation Sequencing. She is currently the Assay Development Scientist for TriCore Reference Laboratory's Molecular Oncology Department, an assistant clinical professor for UNM's Department of Pathology, and adjunct faculty in the school of Math, Science, and Engineering at CNM. Her primary interests include Next Generation Sequencing and science education.
